Homework will be assigned every day. It is important to check your child's planner EVERY DAY to make sure this work is being completed. Homework is practice from today's lessons.
In general, this is the type of homework your child will typically bring home each day of the week. If the school week is shortened, (no school on Monday or Friday) this will be altered slightly. Monday: Spelling - 2x each
Other - Special Folder signed Tuesday: Spelling - 5 sentences
Math - WS
Wednesday: Spelling - ABC order Worksheet
Math - WS Thursday: Spelling - Rainbow Words (1st half of school year) Cursive worksheet (2nd half of school year) Math - WS Friday: Reading - Read with someone or to someone for 15 minutes over the weekend. Students may be given a specific story to read/practice, or they may read any book of their choosing at home. |
